FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS AT BUT

 

Scholarships are granted subject to the current BUT Scholarship and Bursary Regulations.

 

There are several types of scholarship that international students can apply for:

 

ACCOMMODATION SCHOLARSHIP

 

• BUT student may receive an accommodation scholarship under:

  • Section 91, Paragraph 2, Letter d) of Act. no. 111/1998 Coll. as amended

  • Art. 9, Paragraph 1, Letter d,e, and f and Paragraph 2 of Scholarship Regulation at BUT

  • Paragraph 1 of the Direction of Rector No. 16/2008

• Students are entitled to receive the accommodation scholarship if they are:

  • students enrolled to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programme,

  • students with citizenship from European Union countries (28 countries),

  • students with citizenship from EEA countries (Island, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland).

​

• The accommodation scholarship is in amount of 550 CZK/ a month at the moment. Students can apply for accommodation scholarship online. The instructions how to apply for accommodation scholarship will be provided to all students in the beginning of a semester after their arrival by email.

• The scholarship is sent to a student bank account in CZK. Each student will receive the email with detailed instructions how and where to open the bank account.
